Who

Market-G Social House is a modern social media firm, founded by Katie Greenstone. They’re based in Metro-Detroit but traveling (almost) always, and as a native Detroiter, I loved getting to work with a local brand that’s making waves far beyond Michigan.

For a digital-first brand like Market-G, their website isn’t just an online presence — it’s their home base. It’s where potential clients form their first impressions, where their work is showcased, and where their brand really exists online. Unfortunately, their old site wasn’t quite capturing the full energy of Market-G.

Market-G’s clients range from local restaurants and chefs to real estate firms and small businesses. They specialize in organic strategy, UGC, growth tactics, and content creation, and everything they do is rooted in being strategic, fresh, and a little cheeky. Their brand had so much personality in real life, but online, it wasn’t coming through.

When Katie first launched Market-G, she DIYed a logo and called it a day. Their previous website looked professional enough, but it didn’t tell the full story — it didn’t have the boldness, warmth, or personality that made Market-G feel like Market-G. The foundation was solid, but Katie wanted more.

What

Instead of a full rebrand, we focused on refining and amplifying what was already working — turning Market-G’s online home into a space that actually felt like them. We kept their existing logo but expanded their color palette, adding a new green for versatility. We swapped their heading font for something that felt more playful and distinct, and we added custom UI elements, oval shapes, and little vibey icons to bring more of their personality into the site.

One of the most important parts of this project was the imagery. Katie wanted the site to feel travel-inspired, pulling influence from her favorite destinations — namely Italy and Hawaii — but she also wanted it to feel fun and a little cheeky. Instead of pulling from generic stock imagery, I sourced 100+ images that made the site feel unmistakably Market-G. The final site is full of warm, colorful, personality-packed visuals that feel like an extension of the brand itself. Lots of food close-ups, too, because… obviously.

Beyond the visual details, we also refined the layout and flow of the site to make it feel effortless to navigate, leading potential clients exactly where they needed to go — whether that was learning about Market-G’s services or reaching out to book.

The final website feels like the perfect balance of polished and playful. It’s strategic and professional while still feeling like Katie. Every detail was intentionally chosen to make sure visitors walk away knowing exactly who Market-G is and why they should work with them.

And it’s already making an impact — Katie said, “I had a CEO of a VERY large publication say he saw my website and that ‘I had it going on.’ I also feel so confident sending people to my website now whereas before, I didn't!”
