Madison Kachelmeier Photography

Who

Madison Kachelmeier is a Texas-based newborn, maternity, and family photographer with a gift for making sessions feel effortless. Her work is warm, natural, and deeply personal — more like a memory than a perfectly staged portrait. When she reached out to me, she knew exactly how she wanted her brand to feel: cozy, timeless, and personal, like a vintage sweater you’ve worn and loved for years.

From the start, we connected over our shared love of thrifting, vintage aesthetics, and that perfect mix of old-meets-new. In her brand strategy workbook, she wrote: “The way I would think about it is through thrifting. I basically only thrift timeless pieces — solid wood dressers, brass lamps, quilts — things that are super old and have been around forever and will be around forever. I take these pieces and style them in a trendy way… if that makes any sense.” And I was like, YES. That makes PERFECT sense. That approach — mixing timelessness with a fresh, personal touch — became the foundation of her brand.

Madison’s photography is all about connection, and we spent time in the strategy phase figuring out exactly what sets her apart from other family photographers in her area. She’s personable, incredible with kids, and makes sessions feel laid-back and natural instead of stiff and posed. Her brand needed to reflect that, not just in the visuals but in the messaging behind her website. We refined how she talks about her work and made sure her site was structured to lead potential clients through an experience that felt just as effortless as her sessions.

What

Since Madison is an incredible artist, I wanted this project to feel like a true creative collaboration — like we were building something together. I pulled tons of inspiration from her photography, making sure the branding and website felt as warm and personal as her work. We used soft edges, friendly fonts, and cozy, nostalgic colors to bring that inviting energy to life. My favorite details are Madison’s own doodles, which we turned into custom brand illustrations she can use over and over.

For the website, we put her photos front and center while making sure the whole experience felt intentional. Every page flows into the next, guiding visitors through her work like flipping through a well-loved book. By the time they land on her contact page, they already know they want to book her. (Some extra photo examples on the contact page don’t hurt, either.)

Since launching her new brand and website, Madison has been hearing the exact kind of feedback we aimed for — her personality is coming through, her brand feels cohesive, and her site makes people excited to work with her.
