The Podcast Tour Academy is the first Podcast Tour™ certification program, presented by Scout’s Agency. With over 2,000 podcast episodes booked, 150+ Podcast Tours™ run, and a proprietary database of over 5,000 podcasts, Scout’s Agency is the go-to expert for getting entrepreneurs, authors, and thought leaders in front of the right audiences.
After years of success, they launched The Podcast Tour Academy to scale their expertise, spill their secrets, and help even more people land podcast interviews — without the need for a PR team.
What
Partnering with Scout’s Agency to develop The Podcast Tour Academy was such a fun and transformative journey. The biggest goal was to establish PTA as a true “sister” brand to Scout’s Agency — something that complemented their existing aesthetics while still standing on its own. Another challenge was making the PTA brand feel slightly more buttoned-up and corporate to appeal to PR professionals and agencies while still keeping the energy and approachability that Scout’s Agency is known for.
I started working on the brand identity while the program was still in development, which meant the vision for the brand was evolving throughout the process. At first, The Podcast Tour Academy was positioned as a training program for PR agencies, and the website I built reflected this original iteration. Eventually, the idea shifted into something entirely new — a course designed for entrepreneurs — so as the brand grew and changed, I provided additional brand collateral to match its evolving vision.
Since finishing this project, I’ve been lucky enough to keep working with Scout’s Agency in many different capacities. I work closely with their founder and CEO, Scout Sobel, across multiple brands, including Scout’s Agency, The Podcast Tour Academy, and Okay Sis Podcast, the mental health and entrepreneurship podcast she hosts with her sister Mady.
